Ghorepani Poon Hill Sunrise Hiking Tour

Ghorepani Poon Hill Trekking is one of the famous and popular treks in Annapurna Region offering breathtaking views of majestic Himalayas. It is easy, short and classical trek suitable for those who have limited time. This trek is famous for close up views of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Annapurna and other beautiful mountains. The blending undisturbed nature, Spectacular Mountain views with sunrise and cultural diversity of local ethnic magar and gurung village people. It is one of the most excellent trekking routes in the world and gaining popularity among the nature, adventure and culture lover. The best season for Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek are March to May and September to December but the trek can be arranged in whole year. Before setting the trek schedule you will have opportunity to explore the cultural, pilgrimage and heritage sites of Kathmandu Valley including sightseeing of Pashupatinath Temple (A hindu pilgrimage site and one of the UNESCO cultural world heritage site of Nepal), Swayambhunath Stupa (A monkey Temple), Boudhanath Stupa (Famous Buddhist Pilgrimage site and one of the UNESCO cultural world heritage site of Nepal), Nagarkot (destination for honeymoon tour, short trek, hiking, mountain biking and sunrise and sunset tour), Patan Durbar Square, Kathmandu Durbar Square and Bhaktapur Durbar Square just another day of your arrival in Kathmandu Nepal. You can do a short mount everest sightseeing flight called Everest Experience Flight in optional.

Pokhara the City of Lakes

On the third day you will have breakfast at your hotel. After breakfast drive to pokhara by deluxe bus or fly to pokhara and overnight at pokhara hotel. Next day after breakfast we will drive to nayapul 42kms from pokhara and walking to Tikhedunga (1540m) passing through the beautiful landscape, rice farms and waterfalls and we will reach at Tikhedunga. Enjoy the local people culture and explore the village. Overnight at guest house. Next morning after the breakfast, trek to ghorepani from Tikhedunga crossing Bhrungdi khola. Hiking steeply to Ulleri, a magar village and passing through the cultivated fields, you can see the view of mountain far away. After trekking through the oak and Rhododendron forest, we will reach ghorepani village where we set out the camp for overnight.

Ghorepani Poon Hill Trekking

Early morning we hike up to Poon Hill for the panoramic views of Himalayas and the view point for sunrise over the majestic mountains. After having the breathtaking views of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Tukuche, Nilgiri, Annapurna and Mt. Fishtail and some photographs, we climb down to Ghorepani and after breakfast we start our trek to Tadapani. On the way we will have opportunity to view Dhaulagiri and Annapurna and crossing the forests we reach at Tadapani and we stay overnight there. After breakfast at Tadapani, we start our trek to Ghandruk, our next destination trailing through Rhododendron forests encountering with monkey and watching birds. At Ghandruk we will explore the largest gurung village and their museum with ancient culture and tradition. Overnight at hotel at Ghandruk. From Ghandruk we trek down through small hamlets, terraced rice fields and subtropical forests. We will reach Nayapul after continuing our walking along with Modi Khola to Birethanti and catch a private vehicle to Pokhara. We will have leisure time at pokhara to explore the city with beautiful night walking along the streets. Next day we will take a drive to Kathmandu or we can take a flight also.

Thamel Market Kathmandu

After reaching Kathmandu you will be transferred to hotel and again you will have some leisure time to explore the local market for shopping, wondering and to have some entertainment program with launch at typical Nepali Restaurant. As next day is your departure day, you will be transferred to Airport before that please check your baggage, documents and other necessary things that you should carry on.
